The Messages in Flowers

If you have ever had a reading from a clairvoyant or a medium, you will have noticed that they sometimes will bring you a flower.

The language of flowers was first used in the Victorian era, as in the Victorian society, the expression of strong emotions was frowned upon. The society at the time was governed by strict rules of conduct and verbal expression of such things was not allowed. This started out in the form of couples expressing their feeling with the gift of flowers, but it wasn’t long before mediums began to notice that spirit were using flowers as a sort of ‘short-hand’ to bring messages from the other side.

In today’s churches and also in private sittings, spirit still bring through messages with flowers – such as forget-me-not, obviously for remembrance, and a red rose as a symbol of love.
This month I thought I would choose some flowers for you to give yourself a little message from spirit.

Rosemary – Someone’s birthday or anniversary is approaching and they have heard your thoughts and memories. They share these with you and say ‘thank you for the happy times’ sending their love.

Tuberose – you have been over-indulging lately and maybe burning the candle at both ends. Please take time out to pamper yourself, and maybe take a de-tox.

Tulip General - You have either found your soul mate or he/she is just around the corner. This is the flower of true love.

Rose Bud – A new project, the birth of something new or a new baby are on the agenda for you over the next few months. If a project, it will be successful.

Yellow Rose - Happiness and friendship are just around the corner. You have been feeling low and lonely – cheer up, much brighter days are coming !

Violet – You are shy and hide your light under a bushel. Shout out about your talents ! You are much more interesting and clever than you think !

Statice – The person you are grieving over is with you. If you sit quietly and relax, you will feel their presence. They may even leave little signs such as feathers and coins to let you know they are there.

Red/white rose – your energy is out of balance – try to meditate, or if you need to get something off your chest, make sure you say it in a non-confrontational way.

Sunflower – someone has noticed you ! New love is on the horizon !
