"The reason birds can fly and we can't is simply that they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings." -- Sir James Matthew Barrie
Most people trapped by fears and worries because they lack faith!
But what is faith?
Is it positive thinking, a feeling, a person’s church affiliation, confidence, hope, or is it something far more?
Some religions describe faith as being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it.
Dictionaries have defined faith as a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny.
In a spiritual sense and meaning faith is seen as a deep-rooted belief affecting the whole of life that the visible universe is the manifestation of an eternal and an unchangeable unseen power.
Some of us have lost or are losing our faith slowly and also there are many who never had a faith to lose. Everyone experiences some form of a setback, adversity, failure or loss in at least one area of their life.
Many times we find ourselves putting the blame on others—parents, society or the circumstances of life. Everyone has inner battles they are fighting and no one is immune to the teachings of life.
Faith increases and decreases. This is natural and it will happen many times in our lives.
The strength of your faith relies on how and what we feed it, and most importantly how we react when it is being tested for it is during times of hardship that doubt can take hold and weaken it.
Every time you venture out in life you will find something or some circumstances that will contradict your faith.
For some, faith is not understood and consequently not used to full advantage. Faith is neither illusion nor magic but a power rooted in eternal principles.
Faith is about believing in something and knowing that it is true, even when your mind can’t find the answers. Strong moral character results from consistent correct choices in the trials and testing of life.
Your faith can guide you to those correct choices. It is what you do and what you think about that determine what you are and what you will become. The only way that strengthening your faith could be good would be if removing doubt about something.
Faith helps to remember that we all must struggle with different things in our growth, which is why I believe we came down to this world as sisters and brothers.
It is my belief that we have all been given the spiritual gifts that will help us thrive and grow. Faith is a gift; just like all the other gifts,When we are willing to share those spiritual gifts that we are blessed with, like faith, healing, teaching, etc., we are building our own faith in ourselves and each other.
Through faith you will become much more able to deal with negative conditions in a creative, transforming way.
Find time to reconnect with your faith and strengthen the faith in you.
