Throughout the ages, the relationship between the spirit world and us here on earth has always flourished. Mediumship has always been documented and phenomena has happened to people the age of a child and wise gurus. There are many scientific elements that bring our worlds together, but one spiritual element that has been for the majority forgotten on our part, but used with every great intention on the spirits part. This is the element of love. Something on our part received with expectancy, demand, and entitlement, but only given with inheritance and conditions. However on the spirits part, given with purity, selflessness, and care. We will look into the different types of love, why it is forgotten so easily, and how love fits in as a scientific and paychological necessity of life. There are three main classifications of love which are eros, ludos, and agate. These loves bring on a type of shall we say “secondary”love selfless love, the unconditional love. Below we will discuss why more than one love is important, the science behind love, and why love is so important.
Spirits have been around us since the day we were born, celebrating our accomplishments, and standing by us when we are going through difficult times. They let their presence be known through direct voice and materializations. This is done all out of love. Why can they love so forgivingly, and the greatest gift we can give someone is held back so selfishly? The answer is quite simple, the ego. To sum things up, the ego will make your mind believe that love does not exist. The ego is what keeps us grounded, gets us through the real world as we go through the pressure of finances and material aspects, and gives us a reality check telling our minds we need our ego to survive in this physical dimension. The problem with this is the basis of love is not a physical thing. There is love all around us, and our ego keeps us from feeling it, giving it to others, and sending the thoughts of more love into the world, in order to survive. The fact is, as discussed in previous articles, we CAN survive without the ego. When we are living in our left side of our brain, we are feeding the ego, not enabling love to emerge. Love is controlled by the limbic system, the right side of the brain. So as we continue to move from our left side of the brain, we move closer to love. As we move closer to the right side of the brain, we move closer to our spiritual side and emmotional side, and as we do this, we will be able to love unconditionally like the spirits, follow in their example, and give out to others what they have given to us, unconditional love.
Unconditional love is a combination of philos love and agape love. The eros love is physical, and very quick to show signs of. This is a romantic type of love, usually happening in the beginning of a relationship when your stomach feels fluttery and your thoughts are taken over by this new found love. This love is very much associated with lust. When these feelings occur, what is happening is our brain is secreting dopamine. This love can go into two directions, either this romance will fizzle out, or it will continue and evolve into philos. Philos can also be associated with romantic love, however, this is also the type of love given to siblings, parents, and friends. The foundation of this love is friendship. This type of love evolves, and develops over time, as two people, no matter what type of relationship it is, evolve together and grow as individuals. The glass is half full with this type of relationship, and giving is a two way street from both parties, although taken with gratitude, nothing is ever expected, or deserved as it is always about giving to the other person. Agape, is the strongest type of love, it is unconditional love. This love involves pure giving, and selflessness. This love sees no bad and as complete patience and compassion for those who do not show love. Self fulfillment is gained by giving love to others. These loves can all be experienced seperately, just like living in our physical or being intouch with our atheric self, our spiritual soul. However, here on our earth plane, we survive by having a balance between our physical and aetheric. As in order to be here in our physical form, they need eachother. This is like love. Man has their physical, mental, and spiritual parts. This makes us human. Love also, shares the same elements of man physical, mental, and spiritual ingredients. Each feeding off together to make one.
Love is often mistaken as an emmotion, but perhaps it is not, perhaps it is a state of awareness. There are many misconceptions of love, for example to have fallen inlove is actually positive. On the contrary. To fall, means you have reached the lowest state you could reach. Love does not do this, love is nurturing. To be in love is more accurate, as it describes ones state of mind. To be in love is fulfilling that unconditional love that the spirits give us. It is feeling all the love around us. The easiest way to get into this state is to live in the present. Live without the ego. Become one with the love around us. In essence, love should be the foundation of every relationship we have, every project we take on, and every example we set. On average, love is put on the back burner because of our fast pace way of life, our fear to love, and our selfish ego. However, without love we would only have ourselves, and we would not even have the option to love ourselves, and ultimately you cannot expect others to love you if you do not love yourself. Love yourself, let others love you, and most importantly love the spirits that we have to look up to and try to be as much unconditional love as they do to our world.
