  ARIES - The Lovers

Very much the card of love this one but also a card of choices/decisions that either you have to take to choose between two prospective partners or that you and a partner have to decide together about your future. Firstly if you're single this shows that it is very very likely that a prospective love affair is on it's way. However this doesn't mean that you MUST get involved in this as there is a choice here and you can say yes or no to this. On the other hand this card has a very powerful energy in terms of letting you know that there is one person coming into your life who is literally a soulmate. Now don't think that means it will all be love & roses as soulmate relationships are often the most challenging and demanding of our lives so it's unlikely to be plain sailing but then aries does like a challenge. If you're in a relationship then you and your partner are likely to be challenged to make some major decison(s) about your mutual life together this year – co-operation and compromise are the keys here.

  TAURUS - Page of Pentacles

Opportunity knocks in terms of your love life single Taureans and this is likely to be around the autumn time (sept/oct). Don't go looking for this if you're male as it will come to you and if you're female then you will be the one to perhaps ask someone out or make the first approach. It will just be early days so just take it one step at a time and don't be shy or look a gift horse in the mouth. If you're in a relationship then a daughter or female child will figure prominently in your life this year and, in fact, if you are wanting a baby together then this energy is very positive and should be a little girl. If you or your partner or considering doing some training or education this year then please support each other in this as its positive and there could even be a little windfall financially in the autumn which will be very welcome.

  GEMINI - 10 of Chalices

Lovely card in terms of your love life this year Gemini especially in relation to the summer months. This should be a year when, if you've been single, you really settle down emotionally with someone and set the scene for a long term future together. You could even contemplate getting engaged or married or if not these, at least committing yourself to a relationship long term and if you don't already have children considering this option too. If you're already attached then you should find your bond strengthening thoughout the year and feeling very very happy with your relationship and family life. Possibly the most settled Gemini will have felt emotionally for the last few years.

  CANCER - 8 of Chalices

This year cancerians it's a year to leave the past behind and set off on a new journey in life. If you've had a relationship break up then it's time to walk away from it rather than grieve over it as it's over and done with and this also applies if you've been hoping for a certain someone and it hasn't been happening – it doesn't look like it's going to and there will in future years be something/someone else for you. If you're in a relationship then you and your partner could be considering moving on in some way – this could be a home move to another area or possibly even abroad. You should also be planning holidays together and one or both of you could be considering leaving a job behind and looking for something more positive. In some cases this can show a partner who has passed over to spirit who, although they are on the other side and you have grieved, is actually always by your side and walking forwards holding your hand as you move onwards with your life on this side.

  LEO - 9 Pentacles

Single Leos are likely to stay that way this year but this isn't a bad thing as it looks as though you'll be focusing too much on issues like your career, your home and your financial situation rather than having much time for love and romance. Don't worry as you should enjoy this and be busy busy busy and also doing well financially by the autumn so it's a year for independence and there will be other times for the romance thing. Leos in a relationship should find that both yourself and your partner are concentrating on your working/professional lives and homes too this year and there is great energy around this as new and exciting doors for opportunity open themselves to you between now and September. By that time you should find that your joint finances have improved quite considerably. Also you could be either revamping/doing up your home/garden or indeed even contemplating a move to a new home which would be a bit of a project. Altogether very positive for you

Think new beginnings in 2012 in your love life Libra. If you're single then this can indicate the beginning of a rather passionate new liaison in your life around the end March/beginning April. For committed Librans there should be a new phase beginning in your relationship whether this means you are getting engaged, married and in particular if you are planning a child as this card suggests a conception. All in all it's a very positive energy so you should feel optimistic about 2012.

  LIBRA - 5 of Chalices

It feels as though love could be a bit disappointing for you this year Libra, or that you are still getting over and mourning through a previous break up. Summer though should see you feeling a lot more positive and seeing that it was a lesson to be learned and that life goes on – don't keep looking back at what mght have been; rather look forward to what lies in the future, probably into 2012 as that looks very nice for you. Just be patient and things will change. For Librans in steady relationships you could be feeling a bit disappointed in your partner in the early part of the year and feel like you're not getting the emotional fulfillment from the relationship that you would really like. It's worth working on things to bring them back around to being good and, if your partner is willing to meet you halfway then there can be a happy outcome in the second half of the year, but if you really feel that you've done as much as you can in this respect then it might be time to let go

  SCORPIO - 2 of Wands

You could be feeling a bit between a rock and hard place until the springtime in terms of your love life and you are indeed coming to a crossroads in march when you have to decide which path you take. This could indicate a choice between two partners/prospective partners or indeed the choice between staying single, footloose and fancy free and settiling down on the other path into a committed relationship. The ball is in your court and nobody can decide this but you and remember there are pros and cons to both paths as in all paths in life. Once again only you can make a choice of which path to take – continue on your present one or leave it to go on another. Fortune smiles on your personal life this year Sagi and it seems to have brought to an end a bit of a stuck period in this area. You should see everything moving forwards and good luck coming in your personal life although the big issue here is compromise so you and a partner or prospective partner need to sit down and discuss anything that needs to be decided rather than just leaving it to “the fates”. Joint finances should be very good this year and improve steadily right up until the end of October. If you're single you're likely to meet someone by “coincidence” (it isn't) and get together with them in the same way. There's very much a karmic link here so you were in fact always destined to meet this person and be with them and this is likely to come about after the end of October too.

Single Capricorns are quite likely to meet a prospective partner around mid April who is likely to be either a little big younger than you or at least very young at heart and carefree. You won't look for this person as they will find you but you are likely to be delighted to welcome them into your life. It feels as if they will make you laugh a great deal but whether this will convert into a long term lifelong commitment is debateable so it should depend on how you both work on things as if you don't there's a likelihood it could just fizzle out eventually – still it looks as thought it will be great fun. For comitted capricorns watch out for nice presents coming your way from your partner or him/her coming up with a great idea for a treat/holiday that you'll love. If you're wanting a child together (or it could even be a grandchild) then it looks like it will be a little boy with a very lively energy.

  AQUARIUS - 6 of Pentacles

Relationships should be a bit up and down this year Aquarius with there being times when its absolutely great then others when it's a bit down. It's all about getting the balance here and about give and take so if you're in a relationship you and your partner perhaps need to sit down and discuss this and bring balance back. It's no good in a relationship if one partner is doing all the giving and the other all the taking so it needs to be brought back to equilibrium in some way whether this is in terms of who does most of the housework/childcare to who makes all the effort in the emotional sense. Don't worry too much though as it looks like by around June the two of you will have found this balance a lot better. Single Aquarians are likely to be weighing up the balance of what you actually want in a relationship especially in the first six months of the year and you need to be clear about this and not go chasing rainbows ie people who are just emotionally or otherwise unavailable. After June the chances of meeting someone who will meet you half way and share your goals, opinions and feelings are much much more positive.

Pisces in a relationship could find the month of May particularly difficult in your relationship and it could mean a few arguments/heated discussions going on and you could even feel the relationship is over. If you want it to continue and be successful this card tells you that you need to fight for it positively rather than fight with your partner so try not to feel too defeated in that month. If there's an ex in the background they could be giving you a hard time and there could be a bit of argy bargy particularly in legal matters/to do with children. For happilly settled pisceans either you or your partner could need a minor surgical procedure or have a bit of a health scare so be aware of this always consult your doctor or other professional if this is the case and it's likely one of you will need dental treatment and have had toothache too. For single pisceans it's looks like a single year as the Universe throws you a few “red herrings” who seem like good prospects to begin with but end up being not right for you. Sometimes we all have to go through these times and it's better to be single than with the wrong person. Try and be positive for future years and 2013 holds the key.
