New year is here. Time for the plans within our life for the coming year ahead.
And if your anything like me, you will have a list as long as your arm.
I have had many E-Mails from people asking me how or where can they learn more on a pagan/wiccan and spiritual level. Not to know what it means but what things you can do and create.
And before I start I wish to say that each person has there own way on how they do there own pagan Wiccan level. I am going to show you my way. And please be aware that there is no right or wrong way of doing things, and I like to include my spiritual side into all I do.
How and where to start.
Before attempting to start any sort of candle or magical work. We must be in the right frame of mind.
So the very first thing I like to teach is how to relax and cleanse ourselves. Through single point meditation I call it, using a candle.
There is many ways of relaxing and I'm sure you will find the right one for your purpose. I like to have a bath with bath salts to either uplift
my mood or relax. But in all fairness I tend to energise first with music from the charts I can sing and jiggle to. I then also finish off with a
shower, remember this is me personally. I wear very loose clothing normally a white gown for purity and protection. Then I continue with
my energy clearing the space I'm to use either by brushing up or using the hover again depends on my mood. I collect the things
I'm going to use for my relaxation or meditation, like a white candle, a lighter, music Incense, or oil burner my iPod or music player.
I then remove the things that are continuous in our lives like the phone turn it off. I take my watch off also and I find the most quite place in my house not to be disturbed.
All that done, depending on my mood the next part choosing my music, Buddha chants, forest,Indian, and so on there is loads out there these days, anyway the music is put on just so I can hear it. The candle is lit the smells are on. Next I then take a deep breath in, and I hold it, hold it, hold it, then I release slowly. I do this three times, at this point I either feel light headed or heavy, I then relax and shake my shoulders, then my stomach, hips, legs ECT until I feel heavy. I then place the candle I lit earlier in front of me, and I just stare into the candle flame for a good five or so minutes. I then close my eyes, and I get the impression of the candle flame in front of me, I get different colours flashing within my minds eye, but when it turns blue I imagine or visualise it getting bigger until it disappears, I then reopen my eyes, and I feel that my third eye or my intuition has been heightened. I then relax before continuing on to other stuff.
This is your first time of doing this so you should feel the difference, and if anything go's you should feel relaxed and peaceful. Do this at least once a week or every few weeks to get you started if you don't have the time then you won't have the time on a spiritual or witchcraft level don't even start.
