The Hell Fire Caves

By Compass Paranormal

Hello everyone,

Hope that you are all wrapped up warm and not feeling the cold too much. I can certainly say all the team at Compass have retrieved their thermals out of the cupboards and drawers for the last few events, especially last Saturday, November the 27th at 'The Hell Fire Caves'.

Although the caves remain a constant temperature, outside it dropped to minus 10 degrees ! Despite the cold we had an amazing night, it is definitely a location not to be missed by any paranormal enthusiasts or anyone wanting to be intrigued by its ghastly and hidden secrets.
It was the first time the whole team had been together for quite a few weeks so it was great to see everyone and we were joined by Marq English from Spiral paranormal along with two of his team the lovely Mandy & Kerry. We were also lucky to have all the great guy's from UKPN radio, Sam & Gary Brown, Stuart Tidmarsh and Darren Longhurst. Our medium for the night was Ross Bartlett and it was a pleasure to work with him.
A fantastic time was had by everyone. The compass Team will be returning to 'The Hellfire Caves' next March so it would be great to see you there. Tickets are already selling fast for this event so be quick to book a place,

The last few weeks have been rather stressful for myself, with a lot of negativity that has been developing in the paranormal world, it is sometimes hard to stay positive, one person has helped me to do this and I would like to share this with you.
Way back in the early months of the year at our event at Woodchester Mansion, I was talking to one of our guests who was rather nervous and I found that they were quite scared. During the conversation I found out that they were afraid of the dark and didn't like being left on their own. With a little bit of persuasion and encouragement I coaxed them into facing their fear thus enabling them to rob the fear of its power.
They have been on many events since then, their confidence and knowledge of the paranormal increasing after each event. Driving long distances alone to some events, I can hear you say to your self “that isn’t a great deal!!!!!” My answer to that, is it is.
I found out only recently this lady in question has not only been dealing with a lot of emotional family crisis which would bring a lot of people to their knees, but she also had a very tragic accident a few years ago which resulted in her having one of her legs amputated below the knee.
To have the ability to remain focused and have the courage, discipline and the positivity to lead a full active life with a great sense of humour, is a tribute to this person. I am so proud to say “Karen Malin I am honoured and so priviliged to not only have met you but to be your friend. Your positivity and outlook on life has totally inspired m yself. I wish so many could lead by your example.”
Thank you for letting me share this with you.

We only have one more event this year on December 11th at the old Beneficial School in Portsmouth, so I look forward to meeting you there.
