Fort Landguard, Felixstowe – 20 March 2010, with Compass Paranormal Events
This was a first time visit to this location for me, I was wondering what would we find there and what would happen!.
It was time to leave home for the long 3.5 hr drive to Felixstowe for the event, I am never sure what to expect on events nor what will happen, but as I always explain to the guests, we must be open minded and accept anything.
After a long eventfully journey, we arrived at the fort. It was tucked away, but still held its stature and presence on the docks as Felixstowe. We arrived about 30 mins before the event was due to start and the guests were ready and waiting already, it just showed that the night was to be an exciting challenge.
The night started off with a great introduction by Denise and the team, followed by a talk with me…. The guys were buzzing and just wanted to get on with the event, and to experience some ghost hunting and fun!.
We explained to them about all the tools of the trade that we had brought with us, such as the Ouija board, glasses, trigger objects, EMF’s etc, that was it, they were ready to start hunting, and off we go…
We started off with a general walk around with Roy Roberts, Myself and also the guide for the night, the stories we picked on were excellent… we walked around the floors and the areas one by one, and then we came to the execution chamber, this was spooky and very active, the guests just loved it once we had got them use to the dark, after turning there torches off.
I chose to work with my guests in the old original radio room, it was amazing!. We had doors opening and closing, we had knocks and the old mapping out table was vibrating like crazy!. Apparently the old radar does sometimes pick up on things too!…. I was very impressed with the knocks, and also the table vibrations, which could be seen very easily. The table knocks appeared to be working with morse code signals.
We stayed in the locations and moved the guests around, we had increased the vigils to 1.5 hrs, this really made a difference to the energy and also the activity we were getting. As the guests got more time to work and more time to sit and build up the energy.
After the vigils we allowed the guests time to walk around on their own and to also use any ‘tools’ they wished. We were very pleased with the results, they all came back smiling, we even had guests who wanted to go off on there own and trying other forms of mediumship.
The night was drawing to an end, and the activity we had at the Fort was excellent! This is definitely a location I would love to work again, and I would love to also go back in my own time and experience the activity for myself and on my own!
Morecambe Winter Gardens with Barrie John and Dusk Till Dawn Events
What an event for a winter period! We knew it was going to be a cold night, and knew that this would certainly stir up a few things in the old building. Morecambe winter Gardens held lots of surprises though!
Another Saturday night event and it must have been minus 6 Degrees with lots of snow, and lots of ice still!... This night certainly did get off to a chilly start. We arrived at Morecambe at 7.30pm, and waited for the guests to arrive. Morecambe always feels very lost to me, it holds so many secrets and so much hurt, but out of all this it still keeps me going back for more and it pulls on my heart every time.
We started off the night with a general talk about mediumship and also the building; this was then followed by a history walk. The guests were already being prepared for a night of fright!..., at this point they were then left to go around the building and explore it themselves, to which many of them were spooked.
After a well earned tea break and a good warm up, (I did suggest jogging on the spot at one point!). We split the group, half the group went with Joanne and the other half went with me. We started with a good 1 hr ghost hunt and vigil, the guests couldn’t wait, most of them felt the temperature changes and also being pushed. It was actually getting very spooky with the lights off, and we were also under the stage too! Time to move on Guys!
We continued with another 3 vigils and also use of the Ouija Board, Table Tipping and Glass Moving…. The guests loved it all. It always thrilling fun on the night as the guests get to use the tools of mediumship with protection and also with people who know what they are doing. As with all event we cannot guarantee any form of activity, so it’s good when guests come up to us and tell us what they have felt or are feeling. This was a great night and another night of spooks ready to come out to play.
I must say that the tea was welcome throughout the night by everyone!

Margam Castle, South Wales with Barrie John and Dusk Till Dawn Events
Well what a place! As we drove up the venue it hit me deeply, a very mysterious place with filled with allsorts of surprises!
As we did the introduction it was clear this was going to be a night filled with fun and laughter…, although some of the guests were uneasy and not sure what to expect!
We started with a Mediumship walk around with myself; this was started on the top floor. The first name I was getting was Emily (this name was later found on the history chart), and was a lady connected to the house.
I seemed to be getting lots of information as we walked around, and lots of names… the staircase was very interesting too… and we seemed to get information about a gentleman on the stairs but there was also something to do with a love affair and a lady being dragged or pushed.
I have to say that the table tipping that we tried was amazing, we had 13 people sat around the table, myself and Jess stood in the back ground to watch. The guests were experiencing table knocking, table vibrations and movement, this happened more than once on the night too.
The guests were allowed to walk around and experience the building for themselves; they seemed to be getting movement on the planchette and also via the dowsing rods and crystals.
At one point on of the groups had a luminated ball rolling across the floor in the dinning room, which was very spooky!
This is a venue not to be missed, and I can’t wait to go back again!
