History
Aquamarine (from Latin: aqua marina, "water of the sea") is a blue beryl. It occurs at most localities which yield ordinary beryl. Impurities of iron
determine its colouring, which range from pale blue to deep sea blue-green. Locations: Brazil, Zambia, Madagascar, Tanzania, Mozambique,
Namibia, Nigeria. Blue is the world's most popular colour, it is famous for its soothing, calming effect.
Since antiquity Aquamarine has been seen as a crystal of great vision. Legend says that it is the treasure of the mermaids with the power to keep sailors safe at sea. The ancients also believed Aquamarine gave protection against the wiles of the devil, and that to dream of aquamarine meant you would meet new friends. Aquamarine is also thought to ward off seasickness and prevent the wearer from drowning.

Angel:  Archangel Muriel

Physical:  Boosts the immune system. Aquamarine also relates to the watery element of emotions, especially when a build-up of painful experiences has caused fear or phobia. When the thymus gland becomes stressed because of emotional debilitation, it needs an energy boost that Aquamarine provides, which helps the body release the underlying cause of dis-ease.

Emotional: It gives freedom from the impressions and influences of others. Calming and soothing (especially when combined with rose quartz or morganite). Swiftly releases energy blockages and washes away anger, guilt, resentment, and fear. Alleviates grief and sorrow.
