So many people forget the power of prayer for manifesting their higher goals in life. Frequently these are people with many years of spiritual experience of one kind or another. Often these people are besieged by confusion, worry, fear or upset. Even regular meditators don't always have the simple understanding of the power of prayer for aligning with the Divine. It sometimes seems we all have so many 'tools' in our 'toolbox' that we don't know which one to use!

The power of prayer focuses one's clear intent, which is really all that is required. In this article I wish to write about Fulgurite and Archangel Sandalphon. Fulgurite enhances your prayers, and is used for manifesting your highest purpose this lifetime. It is formed when lightening strikes sand. It's birth is characterized by a huge release of energy.
 
Archangel Sandalphon is Guardian of the Earth, and is in charge of earth healing, distant healing and planetary group work. Archangel Sandalphon carries our prayers (focused clear intent) to God/Goddess/Great Spirit/Divine.

Fulgurites (from the Latin fulgur meaning thunderbolt) are natural hollow glass tubes formed in quartzose sand or silica by lightning strikes. They are formed when lightning with a temperature of at least 1,800 °C instantaneously melts silica on a conductive surface and fuses grains together; the fulgurite tube is the cooled product. This process occurs over a period of around one second leaving evidence of the lightning path and its dispersion over the surface. Because it is amorphous, fulgurite is classified as a mineraloid.

The fulgurite tubes can be up to several centimeters in diameter, and meters long. The longest fulgurite to have been found is a little over 4.9 meters in length, and was found in northern Florida, USA. Their color varies depending on the composition of the sand they formed in, ranging from black or tan to green or a translucent white. The interior is normally very smooth or lined with fine bubbles; the exterior is generally coated with rough sand particles and is porous.

History: Legend has it that Shamans used Fulgurite it to send their prayers to the Divine.

Sandalphon (Hebrew: סנדלפון‎; Greek: Σανδαλφών) is an archangel in Jewish and Christian writings. Sandalphon figures prominently in the mystical literary traditions of Rabbinic Judaism and early Christianity, notably in the Midrash, Talmud, and Kabala.

Some of the earliest sources on Sandalphon refer to him as the prophet Elijah transfigured and elevated to angelic status. Other sources describe him as the "twin brother" of Metatron, whose human origin as Enoch was similar to the human origin of Sandalphon

Sandalphon is uniformly depicted as extremely tall. During Moses' visit to the Third Heaven, he is said to have glimpsed Sandalphon and called him the "tall angel". The Babylonian Talmud Hagigah says Sandalphon's head reaches Heaven, which is also said of Israfel.

Sandalphon is designated "the left-hand feminine cherub of the Ark". In the liturgy for the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles, he is credited with gathering the prayers of the faithful, making a garland of such prayers, and then "adjuring them to ascend as an orb to the supreme King of Kings". The ancient sages also referred to him by the name Ophan (Hebrew for "wheel"), a reference to the "wheel within the wheel" from Ezekiel's vision of the merkabah (heavenly chariot) in Ezekiel chapter 1. Sandalphon is also said to be instrumental in bringing about the differentiation of sex in the embryo. In Kabala, Sandalphon is the angel who represents the sephirah of Malkuth .He is said to appear before the feminine presence of the Shekhinah and receives the prayers of humans and sends them to God.
