Hi Angela, Thank you for doing this interview for Silent voices. You book 'Angelas Angels'. I must admit I couldn’t put the book down and read it in a day, have you any plans this year to release any more books?
There are many more books to follow I hope The hardest thing about writing my first book was deciding which experience to write about. So I picked a few experiences from each decade of my life, so you can see the natural ongoing development of the ‘gift' I was born with
Where can our readers find you in any of the main stream magazines?
They can find me in ‘Chat it’s fate’ known there as Miss Crimebuster.
What's has been the most memorable experience in your work?
There has been so many throughout my life. One particular one was when my Psychic Investigator TV. documentary had its debut in New York city and went out to 36 million people. It was nerve racking, to think It was the start of my gift reaching a world wide audience. But more importantly It was also confirmation of a message I received when I was a child, telling me that when I grew up, I would tell the world about spirit. With that Series the childhood prophetic dream began to unfold.
Have you always been aware and accepting of your gift and how old were you when you realized what was happening too you?
In hindsight I have always been aware from a very early age as early as 3 or 4 years old. I learned to keep quite about it as there were other issues in my life more important during a traumatic and turbulent childhood. I like every child didn’t want to be too different, I knew at 10 years old that something really special was happening with me, when my grandmother appeared to me on the eve of her passing, to let me know that she was ok, and that she would be back to see me later, and she did when I was 17 and living in a different city. She came with a very profound message.
What has been your best and worst 'wow' or 'knowing' moment and how did/were you able to give this when received.?
The biggest Wow moment was having recognition from a chief inspector of west midlands police and the fact that he was eager to go on T.V and talk about my ‘gift, my abilities’ after I gave a vast amount of information about a murder which 3 years after became a documentary.
The worst knowing moment was knowing that a ‘Missing person was not missing as such but had crossed over to the Realms of spirit. It is a difficult thing for any mother to accept, one particular case spirit choose my words carefully to help the mother to confirm her fears
Why do you think spirit communicate in so many different ways to different people, i.e.; - smell, sound, music, touch etc would it not be easier just to speak?
It’s not so much about the spirit communicator, its more about the person receiving it, as you know Mediumship involves three elements, spirit communicator, the channel, and the receiver, all playing an important part which should be received ideally, equally. The receiver may be more sensitive in one area more so than the other.
Spiritualism has gained much publicity and far more acceptance over the last decade. A lot of this has been through an increase in media program, publications and talented people like yourself. Where do you see the overall acceptance of Mediumship and spiritualism as a true religion in five years time?
A lots of people get spirituality and spiritualism mixed up. Spiritualism is already a bonified religion, which started with the Fox sisters in New York, it’s first spiritualist church was established here in Yorkshire over 100 years ago. It’s had to battle for recognition, but the recent change in the mediums act has done it no favours, so in five years time I hope that the present day ‘Pioneers’ will have undone the harm that the changed Act has caused and That we will get more medium programs on mainstream television that are not for ‘entertainment purposes only’.
In your view what would you say are the positives and negatives of the increased media exposure to spiritualism in general ... and do you think the media portray the correct message and knowledge
There have been many programs who have not given a true picture of Mediumship and spiritualism. It seems in this society it’s so easy to ridicule and condemn Mediumship. And put mediums on trial as though to speak …..Speaking as I find, my Mediumship is part of my religious beliefs. I have a profound belief of life after death and the spirit world Realms including ‘heaven’.So why should someone knock someone else religious beliefs, is that not discrimination?!
In your experience, do all spirits return to a place of love and light? Have you encountered spirits that seemed to inhabit a place of alienation and/or darkness?
The subject of spirits of the light and dark does exist. As religion and history confirms this, but overall so does the God spirit. I have worked with those of the light which are those of the heavenly realms and above, and also those spirits who have needed rescuing and are stuck at a level where they don’t want to be. This is what I call my ‘soul rescue’, work. a subject of which I could write volumes about from life experience, as the lower realms do exist, some of my work involving these ‘lost souls’ has had recognition from the clergy from the Catholic Church.
Can you tell from seeing or speaking to someone new to you whether they have gifts or not and if so can you tell what gifts they have?
When you’re a medium your sensitive, your sensitivity can be that intense that you are able to sense people’s innermost thoughts and feelings. So the answer is yes.
What advice would you give to those that have not as yet made contact with their guides, apart from patience?
My thought is… Your aim should be to ‘climb Kilimanjaro and reach the top, why hang about the slopes’. You should begin by wanting to connect to the God spirit first by living spiritually; the understanding of the hierarchy of realms will then fall into place. It is then during meditation and prayer, done in the correct procedure, and practiced regularly as part of your spiritual path of life , that you will connect to your spirit guide.
Which of the psychic senses do you feel are the most valuable to you personally?
A. It’s hard to say but my visions ‘clairvoyance’ (clear seeing) and ‘clairaudient’ are often coupled together and has been a valuable ‘tool’ on murder and missing persons cases. Visions I’ve had since a small child, it’s like watching a video recording but I’m fortunate to be heightened in all senses and always feel totally humbled by it.
What spurs you on today to continue in your work and do you have any goals over the coming years? do you have any ambitions to go further with your abilities?
I am passionate about my work, it was once described by a journalist that I spoke about the spirit world as if it was a subject as common as gardening. Well when you think about it ,it has been a second nature to me all my life. My ambition is to have a regular TV series but most of all to leave a legacy behind for future generations, giving them hope with the knowledge and evidence, that there is a continuation of life.
Thank you Angela, we at Silent voices wish you good luck and best wishes for the future
