SILENT VOICES

 I began seeing spirits from a young age i had told members of my family that I had seen people walk through walls. This not only happened in my home but also on days out, as i was constantly told this was a phase I would ‘grow out’ of. Anything i did seem to give people, a lot of them would just dismiss this, which made me less confident in sharing things and information I was receiving. Because I was so young i couldn’t understand how I could see and hear things that others couldn’t

Around my teenage years I began to talk to people more about spiritualism, mediums and the afterlife, when I was 14 I experienced the death of very somebody close to me. This is when spirit tried to contact me again, but this time I was older and a bit wiser, My first signs that spirit had come back to me and wanted my attention was as I sat in a room and physically seen a pig money box lift off a tiled surface and began tilting then knocking on the tiled surface while I was the nearest person to it and I was across the room, then I seen a cupboard door open and close, been a typical teen I wasn’t sure what to make of this so when I seen a book physically lift off a bed and fall to the floor and open on a page on reincarnation, I thought I would test if it was happening or if it was just chance so  I placed the book back only for it to happen 3 more times. But when I tried dropping and knocking the book it opened on different pages. I took this as a sign that spirit wanted to get in contact with me.

One day a friend of mine was babysitting and she rang me very frightened.  While she was upstairs the baby had been crying and then she heard an audible "ssshhhh" and the baby stopped crying. She had rang me and she wondered if I had heard of this happening before. While I was talking to her without realizing I started to describe the layout of the house, to this day I still do not know where it was. I was able to describe things like the decor, furniture positioning and also the colour of the door and even right down to the number. This was the point that I first began to think that i may have some form of 'gift'.

When i was a bit older I took up a job with the local council I was taken to my first location to work which was a local community centre that had a history for being haunted.  As I was shown around the building I suddenly stopped, I had become aware of a lady stood in front of a door staring at me.  I mentioned this to the person with me who dismissed it and I was made to feel that I would not be welcome to go any further so I declined to go any further and stopped the tour.  When the person who regularly works there turned up, I asked if there was any ghost stories, she verified it and said the ghost is in the place where I had seen the woman. While working there I experienced numerous things. I was also followed by the spirit quite often, and I was made to feel unwelcome to the point that I asked to be moved elsewhere. but the same thing happened at my new building and people didn’t believe what I had seen as it contradicted the ghost story of the building until another medium I hadn’t met came out with the same, I also heard pots and pans crashing in the kitchen even though I was the only person in the building.

When a psychic fayre came to a local building my girlfriend and I decided to check it out. I went for a reading from the medium that I was drawn to, as I sat down the first thing she said to me was "why aren’t you sat this side of the desk as you are very strong?" 

The day after I had been told I could do it my girlfriends Mother said she had 8 readings set up for me and they all understand that I have never given readings before, The night before the readings I was awoken at 4am by a spirit of a man stood at the end of my bed. I began to try channeling and found that he began communicating with me and although I only got short pieces I was happy. My first reading as I started the lady told me the best piece of advice I’ve heard, she told me to put the book down and go with what I get, the reading went really well. My third reading that day was with a lady, as i started the man from the night before appeared behind her shoulder. I began giving her the messages that he was saying. I also explained that there were complications with his passing, but it was relevant to the present time, all the lady did was sit there and nod her head, this worried me slightly. When I finished she explained that the man was someone very close to her who had been murdered overseas and the murder trial was currently ongoing as we spoke. The rest of the readings that day went really well and I was bitten by the bug to pass on messages to people. The feeling was amazing passing on these messages.

One morning I received a phone call from the local BBC radio station, they explained that they were sending out an outside broadcast unit to a local venue and asked if it was possible could I go along. They had seen my advertisements and heard of me and would like to interview me, this was for a local magazine programme about things that were going on in the local community. The interview went really well and was broadcast later that evening.

Not long after that I picked up a local newspaper, I looked at the front and knew I was going to get a reading from the front page story, it was all about a car accident, and around 4-5 months later I did some readings after the second reading which I felt went really well. I then brought the spirit through of a man who had died in a car accident, then after i had finished the girl then ran from the room and brought back a folder, after saying that the information was 100% she then showed us that the folder was full of newspaper cuttings of the accident which I had forgotten about until then. It was the one that I had known I would be getting a reading from, I was speechless.

I became involved with a group that taught young children, we were based in an old house. There were many ghost stories connected to the house, like kids do. I knew many of them were untrue, so one night after all the kids had left, myself and a few others had a walk around the house. I picked up a lot of things people didn’t know so they wrote it down and said they would look it up. The next week came and they had been in contact with a local historian who had found out a lot of what i had said was true, the rest they could not find but they would keep looking

The psychic fair returned to our town and with my new found confidence and all my support I applied to join. I was given my first place in our town.  I had only worked for them for a few weeks but they offered me a full time contract to tour England with them, but because of commitments I was unable to accept although I was honored to be asked.

I got some tickets to see a show by a touring medium, she told me that I will one day do what she was doing, and that she would like to come and see me do it. We have become good friends and she still stands by her words and can see me doing great things in my life of spirit.

I had a 'break' from my life of spirit while I got married then had 3 fantastic children. Spirit never left me, I worked with them when I was needed to but this was the time for me and my family life. We enjoyed many days trip where we encounted spirit, which we felt added to our day.

Last year my youngest son was diagnosed with craniosynistosis so i found people on a computer chat site with children with the same condition. When a few of them found out what i could do they asked if it could be done over the computer. My first few were from around England, then up as far as Scotland, before i knew it I was being asked form abroad, as far as Canada and America. So far there doesn’t seen to be a problem with distance, but sometimes the link is harder to get for many reasons. I have been surprisingly accurate with it, one of my recent ones was a friend was 7 month pregnant and her boy had hidden the TV remote, she had looked everywhere so before she lost all hope she sent me a message. Before I received it I had sent her one asking if she was ok. She explained that it was lost and she had looked all over, I told her there was two places she had to check, one was in the kitchen by the fridge, the other was upstairs in the bathroom behind the shampoo etc. She went off and a few minutes later two pictures appeared, One was of where she found the remote, it was down by the fridge, the other was from behind some hair products, it was the batteries the child had removed from the remote. Another reading was for a girl in England who I have never met and whilst all the reading was accurate a request came out for her to check under her bed for a lost book.  I got a message the next day saying she had checked under her bed and found the book.  I also gave a reading to a lady that couldn’t accept a name of a pet and then when checked with family found the name I had given was what the neighbour called the pet.

At the beginning of this year I worked with a small local ghost hunting group. I went on a few investigations with them and enjoyed myself working with them. We had some great, undoubtable evidence at most of these venues, and I have pictures that cannot be explained.  Sadly I didn’t feel it was meant to be, so I have left that group and followed my own path.

This led me to one of the biggest opportunities of my life time I got to work in Chillingham Castle which one of the 10 most haunted places in England, and with some of the top people in the business, Dr Ciaran O’Keefe and Cal Cooper being a medium for the nights ghost hunt in aid of Diabetes UK. That night I met some amazing people and I am proud to say i have worked with them 

Earlier this year a close American Facebook friends15 year old niece had gone missing. After a few days they had followed all the leads they could find, she asked me if i could do anything over the computer. I managed to pin point a hidden address book and gave them a name from it, they got in contact with this unknown friend and the niece they had been looking for was staying at the house and they had been since they had gone missing.

Lately I have been asked help clear a house of an unwanted spirit, so under the guidance of a fellow medium and very trusted friend I went to see the house and talk to the people there. I found out that they had already had a few people round to try a clear the house, but it had never worked. That night i achieved my first house clearance. I am still in contact with them and their house is now calm and happy.

On a personal note my son has now had his operation for Craniosynostosis at Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool which involved 6 hours of surgery to remove, reshape and replace the front ¾ of his skull, I am eternally grateful to the surgeons involved and the hospital and hold them all dear to my heart and I’m proud to say that my youngest son has fully recovered from his surgery. My eldest son is now 5 and my middle son is 4 and we are currently undergoing assessment for autism with him, so I’m leading a busy home life too. I have become involved with 2 charities which are dear to my heart, sadly due to not wanting to promote the paranormal one has requested to be unnamed whereas the other is the Keith Bennett appeal http://www.searchingforkeith.com/ and I think that Winnie Johnson is one of the most courageous ladies in the country and should be given what she deserves which is the right to hold a funeral for her son. I’ve also become involved with my local Basket Ball League Division 4 team Middleborough Lions where I am supporters club chairman, not bad for someone who had to be dragged to his first game at the start of the season because he didn’t want to go.

Whilst in Liverpool for my sons operation I was asked by a friend to check out her nieces house as she was experiencing a large amount of paranormal activity and it was unsettling her and her daughter, I attended the house and passed on the information to the homeowner whose daughter was not present and then passed the sprit on to the other side, the daughter who is 5 came home the next day unaware of my visit and went straight to her room which she would never go into prior to my visit and started playing and has also slept and played in there ever since my visit.

At present I am doing whatever spirit want to send my way, I have a gift and I know that now. I am just waiting for them to lead the way and I will follow them. I have great confidence in my spirit friends.
